Susan Rheingans, mezzo-soprano, began her career as a soloist with the Roger Wagner Chorale on tours of the United States and the Orient. She has recently appeared in a concert of opera arias presented byDelaware Valley Opera Company and as Meg Page in Amici Opera's production of Falstaff and in the role of Flora in Boheme Opera New Jersey's production of La Traviata. In February, Ms. Rheingans will perform a concert of opera arias and duets at Westminster presbyterian Church in Wilmington, Delaware.

A frequent soloist in Handel's Messiah, Ms. Rheingans also includes the Requiems of Mozart and Durufle, Dvorak's Stabat Mater, Saint Saens Christmas Oratorio and Beethoven's Ninth Symphony and Mass in C Major in her oratorio repertoire. Her commitment to new music has led to premieres of solo vocal works in both the U.S. and Europe, including several songs by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Jennifer Higdon.

Ms. Rheingans has been on the voice faculty of Settlement Music School in Philadelphia since 2001 and maintains a busy private voice studio in Fairless Hills. A former first-prize winner in the National Association of Teachers of Singing competition for the southern California region, Ms. Rheingans has been president of the New Jersey Chapter of NATS since 2007.
